Trips and Pricing

Full Day Bluefin Tuna Trip  -  $1250/Charter (1 to 6 Anglers)   BOOK A TRIP

These 10-hour trips provide some of the best big game fishing action available anywhere. The Bluefin Tuna fishing east of Chatham is the most consistent in the Northeast, with reliable fishing from June through November. Our primary method of fishing is trolling spreader bars and rigged baits targeting school to medium-sized fish, in the 50 to 250 pound class which measure 45" to 73". In 2014, we landed 85 Bluefin Tuna on our charters! If you are interested in targeting larger 73" and up "giant" fish, contact the captain and he will discuss a custom trip targeted to your interests. Depending on conditions, we may fish anywhere from right off the Chatham inlet or Nauset beach, out to the "BC" Buoy or Crab Ledge, or south to the wreck of the Regal Sword or the "BB" Buoy east of Nantucket. When you charter our boat for the day, we will give you our 100% best effort to put you on the fish, and make sure you have an enjoyable time catching them. Currently, regulations allow a charter group to retain three fish: two Bluefin between 27" and 47" and one between 47" and 73". If you choose to keep fish, it will be processed and bagged for you at the end of your trip.

Provide us with your contact information if you are interested in being notified about upcoming shared trip dates. Full Day Shark Trip  -  $1350/Charter (1 to 6 Anglers)   BOOK A TRIP

These 10-hour trips target Mako, Thresher, and Blue Sharks. All three species are abundant east of Chatham July through the fall. A shark fishing trip involves first catching live baits for the day and then heading offshore and selecting a location where we will chum and fish our baits the remainder of the day.

The Shearwater is a proven shark fishing boat for Mako, Thresher, and Blue Sharks. We have caught more large Mako fishing east of Chatham this season than any other boat fishing the area.

Full Day Striped Bass Trip  -  $850/Charter (1 to 6 Anglers)   BOOK A TRIP

Full day Striped Bass trips fish off Monomoy, Nantucket, or east of the Chatham inlet, depending on the conditions. The cool, bait-rich waters in the Chatham area provides some of the most consistent summer fishing for Striped Bass in New England.  We fish many different methods for Stripers, including trolling, jigging, and light tackle. If you have a preference, let us know. We offer Striper trips from late-May through November. These trips typicaly leave Stage Harbor in the early morning and return in the afternoon for a total of eight hours. Later in the season we can also target Bonito and False Albacore on these trips for fishermen interested in catching these great light tackle fish.
